Since February of 1982, Valley National Bank has been a locally-owned and independent financial institution that has served customers in Northeast Oklahoma and beyond. Our deep roots in the community and our commitment to personal service have enabled us to grow alongside our customer base, creating conveniences and solutions to fit their specific problems and lifestyles. None of that is changing.
Over the last two decades, rapid advancements in technology and business processes have drastically changed what people want from banks, and what banks can do for people. As consumer expectations continue to evolve, so will we. This is why we are becoming Vast, a name that reflects our ever-evolving mission to find the ultimate ways to serve our customers throughout their entire banking journey by building the best digital tools and providing the greatest in-person experiences where they matter most.
You’ll notice some things changing — signage at our locations, our website, even the way we answer the phone. But our promise is to be here at every step, to make this transition easy, even exciting. We want to be clear about what you can expect from us once our new name and look goes live on May 6th. We’ve made a list of what’s new, and what’s staying the same.

I'm a Valley National Bank customer. How will this impact me?
Once the new name becomes official on May 6, 2019, there will be no interruption of service. Your current Valley checks and debit cards will work after launch. Don’t worry - you don’t have to sweat replacing any checks, bank documents or debit or credit cards, nor re-enroll in any services, online banking or mobile banking. This experience, much like our new look, is meant to keep it cool.
Why did you change your name?
Vast is a name that reflects our ever-evolving mission to serve our customers throughout their entire banking journey by building the best digital tools and providing the greatest in-person experiences when and where they matter most.
Has bank ownership changed?
No. Since February of 1982, Valley National Bank has been a locally owned and operated full-service financial institution that prides itself on being one of the few remaining independent banks in northeastern Oklahoma. With more than 50 years of experience building a community bank and other successful businesses, the Biolchini family remains committed to serving our local community.
Will my branch look different?
Yes. All branches will have new signs installed and a few branches will see immediate enhancements related to merchandising. New signage will be phased in starting April 2019.
Keep in mind that our new brand is something we are continuously building. We aim to continually innovate for our customers faster than any other bank of our size for the sole purpose of creating amazing experiences that are worth sharing. Our vision is to make banking surprisingly easy and we're going to accomplish that by building the bank that excels at digital and in-person service and experiences.
